Rising Star

TargetPoint’s own Alex Lundry was honored by Politics Magazine as one of their “Rising Stars” of 2009.

“Politics Magazine is featuring something that TargetPoint and our clients have known for a long time,” said Alex Gage, CEO of TargetPoint Consulting, “Alex Lundry is a star in this business. He is what every client is looking for: someone who is always prepared, is a student of data and information and is constantly looking for innovations in  belivering solutions for our clients. The TargetPoint family could not be more proud of Alex.”

One of the most prestigious honors in politics, the award goes to people 35 or under who have already made a significant mark in political consulting or advocacy.  The magazine  chose 10 Democrats, 10 Republicans and seven nonpartisan leaders this year out of a pool of several hundred nominees.

Past Rising Stars have included David Axelrod, Paul Begala, Donna Brazile, James Carville, Alex Castellanos, Rahm Emanuel, Ed Gillespie, Alexis Herman, Karen Hughes, Laura Ingraham, Celinda Lake, Jim Pinkerton, Ralph Reed and George Stephanopoulos.

Alex  Lundry is known professionally as someone that can take the most complicated statistical analysis and explain it in a way that anyone can understand.  In addition, he has led the way in several cutting edge innovations in studying consumer and voter behavior.  “Alex is developing a style of research that will set a new standard for the empirical study of voter behavior,” said Kevin Madden of Glover Park Group and a frequent television news contributor. “Alex's approach of "investigating" data to provide a more rigorous analysis of opinion trends is helping others develop a modernized message architecture around the critical issues being debated in today's political arena.”
