As Director of Research at TargetPoint, McKenna manages the research conducted for TargetPoint’s Politics and Public Policy team. She utilizes both qualitative and quantitate research methods to produce insights and recommendations for her clients. She has a passion for all stages of the research process – from survey design through data visualization. McKenna is one of TargetPoint’s focus group moderators and has lead focus groups across the country on a broad range of issues.

Prior to her work at TargetPoint, McKenna worked as a teaching assistant for econometrics courses taught at Brigham Young University. She researched issues of campaign finance and analyzed trends in political behavior. While at BYU she also helped to plan and orchestrate the 2014 Utah Colleges Exit Poll, as well as survey research projects for local municipalities.

McKenna graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. She was first involved with TargetPoint as a summer intern prior to joining the team full-time. McKenna currently resides in Alexandria with her husband, Spencer. She enjoys visiting art galleries and believes that anytime is a great time for a Diet Coke.
