According to recent research conducted by TargetPoint Consulting, 47% of voters are likely to support a conservative Justice appointed by President Trump compared to only 38% who are likely to oppose the appointment. Support is particularly strong in a number of states where Democrats have to defend Senate seats in 2018. In North Dakota for example, voters are likely to support the nomination by a margin of +12%. Montanans support a Conservative justice by +11%, as do West Virginians by +7%. Overall, 69% of Americans either support the President’s agenda or have an open mind and are giving him a chance.
