TargetPoint is pleased to introduce our talented summer 2020 interns Jessica Powell, Kelsey Eyre Hammond, and Christy Hogue. We are excited for the fresh ideas and new perspectives that these three will bring to the world of market research.
Jessica Powell
Intern
As an intern, Jess assists the full-time analysts in researching issues, interpreting data, and creating deliverables for the TargetPoint team and its clients.
Jess will graduate from Brigham Young University in December 2020 with a degree in Statistics and an emphasis in Applied Statistics and Analytics. Prior to joining TargetPoint, Jess interned with a multi-client lobbying firm in Washington, D.C. In this role she contributed to the representation of agricultural clients within specialty crop markets. She enjoys being involved in politics at all levels.
Kelsey Eyre Hammond
Intern
As an intern, Kelsey assists with research by helping create surveys as well as interpreting the data collected from surveys. She also helps the research analysts by assisting in creating deliverables for the TargetPoint team and clients.
Prior to working at TargetPoint, Kelsey worked as a growth strategy intern for a non-profit called “The Other Side Academy” in Salt Lake City, UT. Kelsey has a passion for international relations and was a leader in Brigham Young University’s Model United Nations team.
She is pursuing a B.A. in Political Science from Brigham Young University as well as a minor in Mandarin Chinese. She grew up in Irvine, California where she enjoyed tennis, lacrosse and theater in her youth. She still enjoys those pastimes as well as road biking and hiking to stay active.
Christy Hogue
Intern
As an intern, Christy is excited to learn from professionals and gain new data and research skills.
Prior to working at TargetPoint, Christy was an intern at the Michigan Republican Party in Lansing, Michigan. She worked on many projects such as data and petition entry, tracking events, communications, field work, and voter contact. She enjoyed getting to see the inner-workings of campaigns up and down the ballot.
She is a recent graduate from Grand Valley State University with a B.S. in Political Science and Marketing. In her free time she enjoys skiing, CrossFit, and hikes with her dog.
